je Davidoff uradio ovdje?! Pa slično što i Gucci sa Guilty Absolute. Doduše Davidoff je to uradio u dosta blažoj varijanti. Gucci je zbog agresivnijeg pristupa pobrao velike simpatije, barem u parfemskim krugovima ako ne vec kod prosjecnih kupaca, dok je ovaj prošao nekako nezapažen obzirom da nije tog kalibra. Oba brenda su ustvari pustila idejno niche kompoziciju u dizajnerski svijet. Možda je kvalitet i niche narav na strani GGA ali i ovaj ima neke edgy elemente. Siguran sam da vas ima još ovdje koji volite povremeno baciti oko na ove parfeme o kojima malo ko govori, sa nadom da ćete pronaći neki podcijenjeni skriveni biser (kao sto sam ja sa Cerruti Signature). E ukoliko je nekoga ovaj intrigirao došao sam da upozorim da je ovo jedan od onih sa kojima čovjek mora biti oprezan.

Smoothly, that prelude moves over to a creamy and woody cedar, which well combines with the earthy vetiver. The sillage calms down a bit, though it stays around your arms, not a skin scent yet. That is the heart, which seems to last forever, definitely quite a few hours.

And then comes the soul, a pleasant and relaxing bitter cocoa like the pure one you can meet in the finest dark chocolate, which gives a gourmand vibe to the earthiness of the vetiver. Horizon Extreme is thus for me a thoroughly interesting fragrance in the opening, but from the first hour then unwearable. In no way comparable with Horizon. Too bad!

The new freshness from the wild

After six hours, the performance is then at the end. The annoying sweetness is now gone. In the skin close area, it has now become woody-smoky, which makes it very interesting for me. But unfortunately much too late. So I would have liked him from the beginning. Like Terre, Horizon also goes well with yellowish hues. Whereas the Terre has a tendency to brownish. Come on, men, it is nearly 3 pm, and after 7 hours, the elegant aura is still around me, in all its boldness. I have barely 250 more scents in my wardrobe and ain't no one similar to this. The more I smell it, the more I fall in love with it, I can't take my nose off of it.

My two cents: DH is an excellent performer, ideal for a business day as well as leisure time, I would dare even for early evening. I am wearing it today, which is the middle of March, and the calm wind of this early spring melts well with it. I would recommend it for late winter and spring as well as for late summer and fall when the temperature stays between 15°C and 20°C degrees. Not sure about its performance in the hot summer, I will have a chance to give it a try.

The Extreme version starts off fruity-citric with sour, sharp notes, which are probably due to the ginger. Soon woody notes of cedar, sandalwood and cypriol will be added. The latter is said to be reminiscent of eagle wood and is probably also responsible for the slightly balsamic, which resonates in the fragrance. I like the mixture of fruity-edged and woody aromas very much here. Clearly the fragrance is not free of synthetics and no spawn of complexity, but as an all-rounder it is certainly more than passable. If you are looking for a classic luxury perfume that is both stylish and timeless, then Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani is the perfect choice for you.

Let's get into the scent. Right after the initial sprinkles DH opens with a blend of citruses and ginger notes, balanced by the aromatic and green rosemary. That mixture is marvelous, unique I would dare, and far far away from the bitterness of TdH's orange, and it lingers around for roughly 10-15 minutes. Unlike so many others, I quite like "Horizon". But it is too weak on the chest for me. Desshalb I have (and still hope) for a "Intense" of it, which also deserves this definition. This could be brilliant....

Breathe, feel, rise, reach new heights!
