Description

So I bought these mag locks and whilst the magnetic locks are actually good the rubber straps that come with them to secure secure your rod are not very good. The Flexi-Grip arms are designed with a small amount of inherent flex and feature rubberised grips for a secure grip on any rod butt.

It’s not that far removed from static line fishing cast rig - tie mainline to a tree, pop back in the morning and see if you’ve had a bite. They come in a range of designs and styles, with various features to suit different fishing styles and preferences. When snag fishing especially, the rod needs to be immovable should a fish pick up the rig and bolt off. If a fish can make it into a snag through the line stretch, you are too close to the snag, and being on top of the rod isnt stopping it getting in there. One magnetic ‘plate’ is screwed into your bankstick or buzzer bar, while the opposite magnet is strapped to your rod to create a secure connection. The 'Specials' are produced in a unique and labour intensive manner, enabling the blend of 5 highly attractive stimulants to work to their absolute maximum effect. When you come to strike into the fish, your upward lift is enough to separate the magnetic bond quickly and easily. I would assume to be of use they require a tight clutch and tight line - ok if the snags are bang in front of you but pointless if to the side as the kite will take you into snags.

This grip is greater than most other models available as despite their small size the Fox Butt Grips are actually in contact with more of the butt's surface area than most. Johnson Ross Tackle first opened its doors over 30 years ago, it has always been a family run business. These flexible Dual Gripper Butt Rests are designed to securely retain the rod in most fishing situations – holding onto the butt and stopping the rod from being pulled from the rear rod rest on ‘the bite’, whilst releasing smoothly on the strike. Fish safety must always be a top priority and using the right type of fishing rod stand, rest or holder will ensure this.

Cost wise yes they are a bit cheaper at eleven quid rather than eighteen, but the Jag version is more engineered with its spring loaded mechanism so i guess thats where the extra is. v=1679407296","width":245},{"alt":"Solar Tackle BlackLite Centre-Loc Adjustable Back Rest Mini","id":33408384827667,"position":2,"preview_image":{"aspect_ratio":1.

Yes, another vote for the ESP ones, whether you have full duplon or abbreviated, both sizes of the grips are superb.

ESP went through a number of samples before the overmoulded polymer had just the right level of hardness and ‘spring’ to provide the optimum grip and release. Plastic thread or metal thread, we have plenty to consider when looking for that perfect fishing rod rest. I have ACTUALLY tried and tested these and will continue to do so has they suit MY needs I’m not bothered that they haven’t been tried and tested by the best anglers in the world at rainbow.
