Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Probably a waste of time, but I will be able to upgrade or replace without disassembling the rear interior. I am certain it would fit under passenger footwell carpet, notched into tbat larfe chunk of white foam that down there. The CRV is a fairly run of the mill unibody crossover and the radio is shared amongst several Honda platforms so (my educated guess only) I'd place it's output at 15 w/ch RMS +/- 5w. Will the vibration from the woofer cause any complications with the fuel pump being that it is directly on top of the gas tank because it sits inside the spare?

The built-in Class D amp delivers 200W RMS and is designed to work with the BassPro Hub subwoofer and enclosure as a system. The required space for this to fit into the spare tire opening would be a diameter =15" and a depth of 7. If you just set it on the rear deck it will just slide around so you will need to figure a way to lock it down. I'm going to document my installation of a JBL BassPro Hub powered in-spare-tire subwoofer into our V70R.My suggestion would be to run the remote into your glove box or a center console and hide it there until you need it if you don't want to see it. Perfect for taking load off door speakers, so you can use crossover built into most modern hu, which will allow cranking volume much higher before distortion.

I decided to melt a small flat piece of steel through the black tiedown rod, and add a rivet nut to the plate for the subwoofer's fastener to thread into. Figure out where you want the little control unit (I went for in the glovebox) and tweek to match the other speakers.I would put a sub under the seat or even customize the trunk panels for two Rockford Fosgate PPS4-8, for example. After 30 days you will still be able to get your faulty items repaired or replaced within the manufacturers warranty and we will be happy to assist you with this. It should be pointed out that your HRV is front wheel drive which has the larger and deeper wheel well than an AWD HRV. I drilled the hole for the M8 rivetnut, and heated the flat steel piece while it was held in place in a vice, and then pressed the black spare tire rod down over it. I did this a while ago, but figured people would be interested in hearing about it and my experience with it overall.

According to the Volvo subwoofer installation instructions, you need to insert a pin into the large connector on the back of the REM (rear fuseholder), but that either needs to be enabled to function on that pin as a turn-on signal, or it is a communication bus signal to the factory amplifier.

The system also includes a wired remote with controls for sub level, crossover frequency, phase switching, and bass EQ, so you can make adjustments from the front seat. If the spare tire post is welded in place and ends up not being long enough to accommodate the BassPro, then there will be no way to secure the subwoofer.

I haven't noticed any effect on the fuel pump, but remember this is not a 2 X 12" box that you can hear from down the street.

JBL does not provide a vehicle compatibility list, but the vehicle will need a removable spare tire post; not compatible with welded spare tire posts. Even with a trunk lined with dynamat and foam under the spare (and foam between the sub and spare, and the sub and bolt washer), and the bolt tightened with an impact wrench, it still buzzes. The item may be missing the original packaging or protective wrapping, or may be in the original packaging but not sealed.
