It may not fully earn its sentiment, but if you’re familiar with the other films in the Viewaskewniverse, you’re definitely going to appreciate it nonetheless. And they’ve released Rachel, Rachel (1968) on Blu-ray too, also mastered from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative. As it happens, it’s exactly the same problem apparent in their current 4K Digital version, and it also appeared on the Imprint Blu-ray release in early 2020 (see our review here): The opening shots of Mars are the wrong color. Filled with Smith''s unique ear for dialogue and insight into relationships, CHASING AMY offers a thoughtful, funny look at how perceptions alter lives, and how obsession and self-doubt skew reality.

I should preface this by stating my opinion that Clerks II is the best-looking film in the series, with a slightly desaturated but highly organic look that the other two films just don’t have, which is how I measure the presentation of Clerks III. Clerks III will be available in the UK on digital from 14th November, and Blu-ray/DVD from 26th December. As much as I like listening to Kevin just talk, I'm not paying all that money to sit thru this again and then get an abbreviated live show. All right, we’ll leave you this afternoon with a look at the cover artwork for a few upcoming 2-film 4K Ultra HD collections, for those who might be interested in getting a bargain.

The cast this time around includes Brian O’Halloran (Jay and Silent Bob Reboot), Jeff Anderson (Zack and Miri Make a Porno), Trevor Fehrman (Clerks II), Austin Zajur (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark), Jason Mewes (Dogma), Rosario Dawson (Rent) and more, with the majority offering quite solid and capable performances for the most part in each of their respective roles. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Director Christopher Nolan interestingly compared Cillian Murphy's Oppenheimer with Heath Ledger's Joker. Featuring Rosario Dawson, a host of celebrity cameos, and Smith’s signature humor, Clerks III is a hilarious and nostalgic capstone to the Clerks legacy – nearly thirty years in the making. Clerks II was about reaching middle age and not entirely finding your place in the world, but staying true to yourself and your friends.Ten years after the original, slacker heroes Dante (Brian O’Halloran) and Randal (Jeff Anderson) have become “funployes” at Mooby’s fast food. Some time after the last movie, you’re relieved or not at all surprised to see Randal and Dante are still running the Quick Stop. It’s a largely enjoyable and fitting new chapter in the series that dares to do something different and fans of the series definitely won’t want to overlook it. There’s a great documentary on the artist, Chesley Bonestell: A Brush the Future, and you can see the same shot from the film in the doc below, with Mars rendered in the correct orange color.

But this time around, we’re dealing with the heaviest material that these characters have ever been put through. Whilst it relies; as the last couple of films have on, the previous storylines of the View Askew universe, it does not wholesale lift the substance and plonk it straight down, rebranded.
