Description

As a 3- Mana AFR Commander, Sefris can be out on the board early and start generating value through multiple Venture triggers. Several Commander exclusive cards will help you get through those Dungeons, such as Immovable Rod, Midnight Pathlighter, and Radiant Solar. Sadly many others play around with another new AFR mechanic – rolling a d20 die – that doesn’t aid Sefris’ cause at all. I mentioned before that the Spirit Dragon tokens made great sacrifices, as they sac themselves when they deal combat damage anyhow. However, there are a lot of other Spirits in the game that like to be sacrificed.

Aura of Courage has Aura and Equipment synergies. Galea looks like a Voltron type of commander, who likes to wear multiple Auras. The precon comes with nine cards that care about rolling dice. Here are the others. They can all be found in the main Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set:

The other dice-related new card that is turning heads is Treasure Chest. Although you have to sacrifice it, the value you generate is immense. There’s a chance to gain 5 Treasures, draw 3 cards, or even search for any Artifact from your Library and put it into play. There’s still a 5% chance you’ll lose 3 life, but even so at least you’ll get a trigger off Vrondiss’ ability! Across the field, the hoard of Hobgoblins begins charging toward you. Perhaps the ideal way to deal with them would have been to avoid this part of the map altogether. As a Barbarian, you were never much for politics anyway. The fastest route from where you are to where you’re going is a straight line. If you have to pummel a few goblins along the way, so be it.Stitcher’s Supplier is a great card for self-mill, as its ability generally triggers twice each game. Also get other cheap cards like Cathartic Adept, Court of Cunning or Enter the God-Eternals that all help to generate value amidst recurring milling effects. Fan-favourite mill card Hedron Crab will also be extra useful here, as you can choose to mill either yourself or the opponent. Since you’ll be playing plenty of Lands, it’s a great cheap way to trigger off Sefris’ Venture into the Dungeon ability. If I’m being honest, the Dice-Rolling mechanic seems a little bit like a meme to me. You can never count on them doing exactly what you want them to do. This seems to me like it would be frustrating when you need a card to do something specific.

You summon the fury of a mighty dragon and manifest incredible abilities. Perhaps your culture reveres draconic majesty, or you gained your connection by drinking or bathing in dragon's blood or after watching a marauding wyrm burn your village. Select a type of dragon from Table 3–4: Dragon Instincts to be your instinct's dragon type. Chromatic dragons tend to be evil, and metallic dragons tend to be good. Table 3-4: Dragon Instincts Dragon Type Powerful and varied synergies between the cards. A decent number of good tutors. Good mana curve. Has an efficient and consistent way to win on turns 10-12 (level 7) or 7-9 (level 8). Some social rules — like no mass land destruction, no consistent combo wins — still exist. There are milestone buyouts that start at 1000 Zen per milestone. The cost is reduced by how much progress you’ve made in that milestone.

Draconic Rage - Precon

Starting May 1, 2022, willing adventurers will be able to progress the Draconic Rage Battle Pass by completing Random Queues. Each day you log in to Neverwinter, you can complete the following tasks for progress: Brave adventurers who finish the final Milestone will be granted their choice of Enchantments and their choice of artifact: Some of these can be pretty expensive, but I would highly recommend playing the ones you have or can afford. It makes a big difference to have access to the colors you need when you need them. Synergy Lands
