It then uses the information collected from modern workplaces to learn so places can easily adapt to employees’ changing needs. Places to Connect forms part of the wider Living Well in Wales project, which highlights the important role Welsh Libraries play at the heart of their local communities and promotes the work they do to support people’s health and wellbeing. Westminster City Council is embarking on a project to develop a Smart City Operating System, which is a modern data platform that aggregates and shares connected places data both internally and externally to deliver economic and social value for the organisation.
