The idea was so great: he helps a young girl in need, offers to marry her so she can use his insurance and get treated, and they fall for each other in the process, but holy sh! It’s no secret that it has a happy ending, but it was such a rollercoaster getting there, pretty much just like Lucky and Skylar’s relationship. Jude and Skylar’s love story is sweet and very sensual, and is great for readers who want to read an age gap but without any taboo factor. It is also not secluded which is why they keep the surrounding area out of frame when driving into it in the movie.

Life just had to fuck with me by throwing the perfect girl in my life and then twisting the knife by making her only eighteen years old.But this book just kept on repeating this word over and over that I could not focus on the romance because I'm constantly made aware of how “it's not grooming because blah, blah, blah”. I love Carian Cole and her writing; however, for me, there were things which pulled it slightly back from 5 stars.They both have baggage of experiences that shaped them into the people they are and just try to put their lives altogether to work for them.
