About this deal

This ends in a cliffhanger, but damn, that’s a pretty good one because I feel like that’s when the spice really starts! There were quite a few times throughout the whole book, but especially Finale, that really got to me. It was a really interesting contrast; Pen’s reaction to seeing Xeno, York, Zayn and Dax again – she couldn’t decide if she loved them or hate them – and that made everything much more interesting. There were times where I had to re-read a sentence a few times to understand how the body was moving. This book had everything you want , the angst that breaks your heart in the right way , the pain that makes you feel so much and the vulnerable scenes that you want to capture and keep with you forever!

Since I've always had a weakness for movies and shows about dancing it wasn't a big surprise how quickly I was into this book and how easily and how much I enjoyed it. But this author gives us her version, one that is completely different and in a way that screams BETTER!You better prepare yourself, if your one to go up against pen then be assured she will put you back into your place. Nothing could prepare you for the turns of events and the twist and turns that this book presents itself.

What she didn’t expect to see was the boys – the men that changed her life, but also tore it to shreds. It wasn't done terribly here but I still didn't love it and I feel like it pushes authors to use very heavy foreshadowing and we definitely got that here. That girl has been dealt a rough hand but everything in her life changes when she meets the Breakers as a kid. Diving in my little millennial heart was 100% ready for a similar vibe to Save the Last Dance or Step Up with the added elements of a RH relationship. The actual writing was as if I was reading a 15 year old's shitty fanfiction about some high school musical wannabe gangster drama.

If you love dance, your men on the criminal side, alpha hot holes and the enemies-to-lovers trope, this is for you.Yes, the art of dance is so lovingly portrayed here, so fundamental to the emotional progression of our story and the characters’ development that it becomes a character in and of itself. However, at times it did feel like I was being given too little information in an effort to build some mystery and it meant that I didn't really care about any of the guys in this book because I didn't really learn anything about them in the present. If you’re into your men on the criminal side, who are alpha hot holes, sprinkled in with some enemies to lovers vibes and one thing I cannot forget this series is centred around DANCE! I just wanted her to be a baddie and not show them any emotions she obvs still has for them and be a cold motherfucker. If you love dance, your men on the criminal side, alpha hot holes and the friends-to-enemies-to-lovers trope, this is for you.
