About this deal

I've been eyeing these up as gifts for a while now and they went down a treat with everyone over Christmas. If your chocolate is dull, has white residue on top or just bends when you try to break it, it's not tempered and you may have heated it too far. Because the mold that I used isn’t huge, I find that these hot chocolate bombs taste best when you use 1 cup or 8 ounces of milk. Don't worry, I'm going to show you how to temper your chocolate in the microwave the easy way and it only takes 5 minutes!

Three hot chocolate bombes, made from the finest Belgian milk chocolate, and filled with heart marshmallows waiting to pop out from inside.Mini marshmallows– You can use ani mini marshmallows you’d like, I used vegan mini marshmallows and they work great! Wear gloves if possible- Our hands tend to get warm very quickly and that can leave finger prints on your chocolate. They are a fun hostess gift packaged in a cellophane bag with some colorful ribbon along with instructions. Be sure to do this one at a time or the chocolate will cool too quickly before you get to spread it on each.

Keep in mind that you might not have as many as I did in this recipe and that you might need more ingredients to fill all the ones you have. If, however, your chocolates are damaged on arrival, we will be happy to offer a refund or replacement product.

The chocolate will pull away from the mold and you can either remove it from there using your hands (I like to wear gloves for this step to avoid finger prints on the chocolate) or flip your mold onto a parchment lined baking sheet and push the top gently while lifting the mold. These glossy Hot Chocolate Bombs are filled with cocoa mix and mini marshmallows for a rich, memorable cold-weather beverage! Then stir with a spatula, moving the chocolate from the outside edges, to the center to evenly heat it. Hot chocolate heart bombs come encased in their own individually wrapped box and would make a great present to amaze your friends and family. You can heat the chocolate any way you want in the microwave, the only thing you have to be careful of is the temperature.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 requires textiles-based products to be tested against a list of 1,000+ chemicals, to limit those which may be harmful to human health.Milk Solids): Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, Cocoa Mass, Soya Lecithin, Natural Vanilla Flavour.

I used the piping bag to add a little bit of chocolate to the cheeks, then pressed a snowflake sprinkle into the chocolate. We have had really amazing feedback on our bombes previously, so I am so sorry to hear that this was not to your liking. If your milk chocolate does go above 86ºF then you can temper it using the traditional seeding method. I recommend using milk or dark chocolate for these balls so that you get a rich, chocolatey hot chocolate! You can tell if your chocolate is tempered because if you look under the mold, it wont be stuck to the molds anymore. Marshmallow (glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, water, gelatine (pork), anti-caking agent: maize starch, flavouring. We followed the instructions to build up the edges, but did not realize that we needed to level it off--it was hard to match the seams, but we "shaved" the edges with a knife and made do.
