About this deal

The jail car would be simple - take out the lever and bar windows, fill in those gaps, and it's a great little boxcar. Let alone your brother's, that is before and after the brother's fate - I am not mentioning it just so not to be a spoiler (I hope). The addition of track and a couple of trackside accessories only add to the excellence of the set and make this a real 'must have' model in . This was a fun and fairly inexpensive little project that yielded a nice little powered train, or at least, it will once the IR receiver and remote arrive. I haven't run it on track but I'm sure it would run fine - the trick is there's no simple mod to motorize it as is.

The above shots shot the car in its original state, the "box" portion rests on a 6x14 plate with the wheels attached underneath. The Minifigures are all extremely desirable, and trains are always popular, particularly when they are as impressive as this model is. The addition of track and a couple of trackside accessories only add to the excellence of the set and make this a real 'must have' model in my opinion, particularly if you are a train fan, in which case I can think of no better set than this. Some LEGO® sets contain small parts that are NOT suitable for and may pose a hazard to children under 3 years of age. I've very fond memories of watching the Lone Ranger as a boy, and although I'm anti-licensing it's a great line. A water tower also features which can be knocked down using a level (cleverly disguised as an explosive plunger) to block the track, spilling four blue cylinders which represent water.

The result looks about as good as I had hoped, while the internal jail door had to be removed the functionality of blowing of the back of the car still works fine. Naturally, the aforementioned binoculars on the Gatling gun, but perhaps even more interestingly, Sensei Wu's hat from the Ninjago theme is cast in pearl silver and attached to the front of the boiler to add texture to the model which looks fantastic. I just think everyone has a vendetta against this studio because of terrible films like Prince of Persia and Pirates 4.

This horse is like the new ones in LotR with moveable rear legs, but it's the first time for that version in white. The boiler is MUCH bigger, but again, I'm impressed that the Constitution doesn't look bad in comparison!

More my opinion, particularly if you are a train fan, in which case I can think of no better set than this. A better option might be to make a larger boxcar and use that for power, since you could put the motor underneath and the battery and IR receiver inside. Despite this however, instructions for how to add Power Functions to the model are given in the 24th issue of the BrickJournal magazine.

The rear of the car can be blown off by pushing a lever on the roof, allowing the convict to escape and inside a sticker shows a tally of days spent in the cell carved into the wall, which is evidently twenty-eight. I must say, the inclusion of this on a train seems like overkill to me, but nevertheless this section of the model (as well as the rest of it) looks marvellous in my opinion. Inside the box you get: bundles of track, 6 numbered bags, one un-numbered bag, a tiny sticker sheet, and two manuals. At the bottom of the front there's a lineup of the figures included, with their names so you know who's who. But if you notice, they motorized it by just sticking a motor, battery box, and IR receiver behind the train and pushing it around the track with an ugly thing at the end.
