Facial details on the impossibly well manicured and gorgeous cast is perfect and every nuance of the obsessively reproduced sixties environment is there to see. But it lumbers on: depressed Draper is philandering again, as is Pete, and Peggy is in the ascendant. However, with so many extraordinary series out there by very talented producers, it would take an early retirement to keep up.

While watching an episode, you are unable to access the disc menu and have to restart the disc to get back into the menu, once again being forced to watch the Lionsgate logo intro, again. The first two seasons were pitch perfect and nuanced; drolly parodying the notion of an American Dream. I found the actors candid, the directors are production heads interesting, and the entire group to be generally engaging. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse.

This is a series that is all about what people say, or don't say, and thus dialogue is clear and centred at all times.
