The machine is built with an emphasis on practicality, allowing it to easily mount to the back of a monitor, thereby maximizing desk space.While the UM790 Pro offers powerful performance akin to a desktop PC, its limited upgradability should be considered. In the realm of ultra-small PC categories, the integration of AMD Ryzen™ mobile processors has proven to be a game-changer, particularly in the Mini PC segment. Effective Design: While its design doesn’t scream innovation, the Minisforum UM790 Pro’s strength lies in its simplicity. Impressively, it effectively managed its temperature, with a controlled range of 77 degrees, and overall power consumption of 63W.This iGPU succeeds the AMD Radeon 680M, which already kept its competitors (Iris Xe 96 EU) in check. Its compact size makes it suitable for limited desk spaces, and it’s compatible with VESA mounting, which is a nice touch, especially in studios where you want the surface to be clear of cables and machines.
