It seems this is compared a lot to Bleu de Chanel, but I have never smelled it so I can't comment on that. There's something small in this part of the dry down that reminds me of an old school 80s/early 90s scent. Dries down to a rather gentle dark, smoky sandalwood base with a green herbaceous nuance of patchouli. If you're looking for a safe, mass-appealing blue fragrance but don't want to get the same generic Bleu de Chanel / Dior Sauvage / YSL Y that everybody else is wearing, this is a good option.

The only downside is that the scent doesn't last very long, but it's perfect for a hot day or a workout. It was very surprising since at first I was almost put off by the sweetness and thought it could potentially be cloying.Performance is decent for a freshie, lasts about 6 hours on skin with moderate projection for first hour or so, but no way as good as the hype would have you believe.

This is wonderful fragrance for spring / summer and it does reminds me a lot to PR Invictus on steroids. This leans more feminine than both VPH and Allure Sport, overall, Wave also smells cheaper than both Versace and Chanel (not that those two smell overly expensive or anything).The aroma is very pleasant and as many have already mentioned, it is similar to Allure Homme Sport (one of my favorite aquatic fragrances) and Versace Pour Homme. A higher-pitched, fruity-blue, Bleu de Chanel inspired masculine that’s ultimately smooth and powerful enough to serve as a decent daily-wear sort of fragrance. It has always been a staple in my collection and after I ran out of my Chanel, I been missing a good scent. Picked this one up recently in preparation for the warmer weather in a couple of months time in the UK.
