I own a lot of cook books and they are all pretty similar and full but this one is amazing I cook things I’d never cook just for the sake of liking the anime, and I’ve started new series just to see the food I’m going to cook! I hadn't time to try every recipe in the book, but with names like "Cannibal Onigiri", "Anai's Yakisoba Rap" and "Super-Bitter Burger", there's no lack of intriguing meals to try out.

Appetizers include After-Practice Nikuman (fluffy pork buns), the interesting Tuna Meatballs in Orange Sauce, and the fascinating Paprika Seafood Caesar Salad. I love how Cook Anime is presented and how it makes both food, culture, and art accessible to readers. Of course, to Anime lovers, these names are probably common knowledge and followers are laughing at my ignorance. The recipes stick to authenticity where they can, and include lots of extra info to help one understand the dish beyond just the instructions for cooking it.Described as a "culinary adventure", Gastronogeek Anime contains 40 recipes inspired some of the most popular anime of the day, including Naruto, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia.

We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. If you're looking for the perfect gift for the discerning anime fan, look no further than Gastronogeek Anime Cookbook! The author also includes quotes from many animes throughout, corresponding to the foods from said anime. There’s occasionally a little bit of humor, information on the dish, or what extra bits of inspiration was behind the particular recipe featured. recipes dedicated to anime and inspired by the greatest works of recent years, from Naruto to Attack on Titan, from chef and pop-culture expert, Thibaud Villanova, author of The Unofficial Zelda Cookbook and The Unofficial Ghibli Cookbook.

Just drawings of the dishes, which I get because the recipes are from anime shows but I need to see what the finished product looks like. Registered office address: Unit 34 Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EF. I really liked how there’s a list of Asian ingredients listed at the beginning of the book which explains what everything is.The caveats: this is not a book for a beginning cook/baker, nor is it for children, as it has recipes for alcoholic drinks.

Especially, you will be given the recipes on each dish on each page which shows you the way to make delicious food. they’ve given you a great primer on cooking rice, how to make tonkatsu, and how to put together a dashi broth. This is truly a recipe book meant for anime fans whether or not they can make many of the dishes before seeing this. Pokémon, one of the most popular video game franchises of all time, has a cookbook totally devoted to it.I like the idea of this book a lot, but I feel that there isn’t enough information about the author for me trust her cooking skills, and basing recipes on anime drawings and dialogues doesn’t exactly sound reliable. Delving into the cultural and historical aspects of the food and seeing how it’s woven into the background or narrative of an anime is just so interesting to me. So I believe I found this cookbook through tiktok or another type of social media, and it has to be the best purchase I've done. I love this cookbook and really look forward to giving a go at making some of the dishes (or making a complete mess if my skills aren’t quite up to the challenge yet).
