For inputs I'm currently using channels 7/8 for my audio interface outs (the ouput from my DAW really) and channels 9/10 (2-track, which btw isn't explained anywhere? According to the manual, the mains are both balanced, and the mon/FX sends are unbalanced, which should be OK.
