With the ability to run on four AA batteries and if required, still supply your mic with phantom power, the VE-20 is an excellent choice for buskers. There are also a few LEDs that indicate whether the power is ON, the status of the harmony pedal and if the unit is recording. Using an unsecured network in a public place can be risky as unauthorised people may try to intercept anything you're doing online.

I haven't done anything with harmonies or programming but find a couple of the rock effects good enough for my uses and will be looking to set up programmed effects as we get more regular gigs. Only saying this as it seems all sax/voice effect boxes are quite old, maybe there isn't enough demand for them. Harmony, double-track, dynamics, reverb, delay, real-pitch correctional tools, a looper, and even phantom power to plug in your favorite condenser microphone is all included in the VE-20.Packed with everything a vocalist needs to take control of their sound, the VE-20 features looping, pitch correction, vocal harmonising, compression and a huge selection of effects. I haven't used it live as yet but if all you need is harmony plus maybe a bit of chorus and effects it'll do the job out the box.
