Created in 1927, Rémy Martin VSOP is the first ever VSOP Cognac Fine Champagne blend (using only the finest grapes), and the first to be enshrined in the iconic frosted bottle. Grapes grown in the chalky soils of both Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne tend to create an eau-de-vie that is superior to those of their neighbors. Remy Martin VSOP is a unique cognac composed of over 240 eaux-de-vies, sourced from some of the most renowned and sought-after vineyards, aged between 4 and 14 years. The labelling designations are: VS (Very Special) with a minimum of two years’ ageing, VSOP (Very Special Old Pale) with four years and XO (Extra Old) with 10 years. P blend is composed of eaux-de-vie coming exclusively from the two finest areas of Cognac, Grande and Petite Champagne, leading to the name Fine Champagne. Crafted with eau-de-vie from the Petite Champagne and Grand Champagne crus, this Fine Champagne Cognac was originally created in 1927. It is here that the Voyer family have distilled their wines since 1870, producing smooth, elegant and haunting Cognacs from an exceptional terroir in an exceptional region.
