We’re revisiting the Blood Angel Combat Patrol to see how many points it is and where to build from there. However, I think it’s the Primaris version of a Baal Predator and it fits well with this army’s theme. But don’t worry, it’s not all bad, while they go insane they gain some strength of their Primarch and get to go down in the blaze of glory. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

As far as function, there’s enough here for the smallest game setting (but your opponent will need an army of their own and you’ll need the rulebook and codex and dice and…) and you’re not married to the Blood Angels. I’ve been painting mine of dark green for Dark Angels (and got ahold of the Dark Angels upgrade sprues separately for the unique shoulder-pads, but these aren’t necessary).

The models might not scream blood angels, as there aren't any blood angels unique units in here, but it's still a good starter kit with good value. Let’s start with the basics and our typical first big question: Do we get a second Combat Patrol Box? There’s quite a few ways to build this army out from the Combat Patrol because it’s kind of a “generic” core to start from. And when you feel confident enough add in some chunky and standard highlights and, if you’re feeling brave, get some fine and spot highlights in there for extra definition.Wherever possible we will work with you on items that have been purchased incorrectly or on items you are dissatisfied with upon receipt. As someone who spends a lot more time building and painting miniatures than playing with them, getting so many figures at once is enough to keep me busy for months at a time. Five Primaris Intercessors and 5 Primaris Incursors (which can be assembled as Infiltrators instead) make up the bulk of the group, with 3 Primaris Aggressors thrown who can deal out and take more damage than their brethren. However, you don’t really get any close combat weapons — at least not enough for propper Death Company unit.
