About this deal

By almost all metrics, hockey, though not a piddly sport, also isn’t the powerhouse sport that the romance industry would have you believe it is. I have pondered hockey’s outsize presence in the genre and concluded that there’s a component of racism and classism there. No woman has ever made him want to change his ways, and he values his privacy and alone time, so casual encounters have always made the most sense.

My virtual shelves have more hockey romances than any other sport combined, with NFL second, so in my head hockey is bigger than it apparently really is. Also, since sports are so big here, there tends to be a lot of news coverage if players are arrested for abuse/violence or colleges prioritize sports over everything.I do want to note that while MLB doesn’t have many Black players, around 30% are from Latin America, which is a far greater proportion than what you’ll find in the NFL/NBA/NHL and possibly more than MLS has, too. And they had an amazing cast of supporting characters lifting them up and interacting with them in a heartfelt and comedic role.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. And case in point: she has sex with him and the scene is pretty hot and wild and uninhibited and the next morning she acts like a shy virgin, covering her eyes and stuff. In terms of popularity though, I bet you those stats would be reversed if you conducted the survey in Canada. Olivia Parker isn’t new to professional hockey players, thanks to her best friend’s boyfriend, but she has no interest in dating one herself – no matter how hot he is.I'd never heard of either narrator before starting, but they both give great performances in this dual narration audiobook. It is a mature hockey romance that contain lots of heat, swoon, laughs, and a ride on an emotional roller coaster!

I guess i will try to list the things that i liked and the things i didn't (from what i remember because i have read other books in between). Too bad for him, Olivia is hell-bent on keeping him at arm’s length, with no intention of giving into his charms. Also in regards to the Third Act Breakup, spoiler but: I didn't even view this as a breakup because it's so short lived, which I know some people on the sub prefer.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from this new-to-me author, but I'll admit that I'm a softie for a manhoe who is smacked upside the head the moment he meets the right girl - and that is exactly what this story is all about. honestly, i got pissed off here only bc i was expecting better from you, Olivia, you cute kitten, but nah - trust issues still inbound. this single handedly convinced me to never reading binding 13 because i think my head would combust. So either she tells him no for real or she tells him yes but with certain conditions to make sure she doesn’t get played, but no. he's repeatedly rude and just doesn't seem to care enough about the people around him, her included, to act differently.
