When I read things like this, it reminds me of the aspect of writing which most appeals to me, being able to create the world as you wish it existed, just because it makes you and your readers happy. There are some wonderful characters, I challenge you not to fall in love with Billy, and you will be entertained from start to finish.As she travels to Heartcross we get to find out more about her past as well as see what her friendships are like through her childhood best friends Felicity, Allie and Isla. It sort of sets the tone of his characters and shows how out of touch with the real world and everyday life he really is. I am a huge fan of Christie’s Love Heart Lane series and I think this might be my favourite book in the series so far. At the moment, I’m planning to read them the weekend of the 1st-2nd January to review as they come out. Andrew Glossop is an equally great character, someone from an incredibly privileged background but with a less than ideal family life, proving that money isn’t always everything.
Released on the last day of 2021 Heartcross Castle has already proved popular with readers and today I have the pleasure of sharing my opinion of the 7th book in this fantastic series with you. Heartcross Castle is yet another book filled with relatable, flawed characters that create such a wonderful sense of community that for me it genuinely feels like coming home when I throw myself into each new story.Then you have the famous, highly confident chef, Andrew Glossop who often has large parties with champagne, fancy food and no expense spared.

She has been estranged from her Scottish family since she was 16 and has taken up with Cole and for the last two years they have moved around a lot. Her life since has been far from easy, escaping an abusive relationship she gets a chance to move back to her childhood home. As mentioned it is part of a series but I feel like it can be read as as a standalone as they author does mention characters from previous books. This isn’t just your typical romance story though, it has some added plot twists featuring her family and secrets from the past that kept me reading and rooting for Grace and her lovely boys as they adapt to a completely new way of life.As the mother of three young boys struggling with relationship issues, she feels so alone and I could relate to the sense of responsibility she felt for her kids, getting them out of the terrible situation they are in and building a better life for all of them.
