My aunt read it to me, my sisters and my three cousins in two sittings over vacation at a beach house when I was about six.Instant Download of the Book cover "James and The Giant Peach" by Roald Dahl on a scanned Vintage 1886 dictionary page. At one point, Miss Spider tells James about her father’s death at the hand of Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spike. The book has crisp, vibrant red cloth boards with an embossed image of a wreath and the head of a child to front.
