I really enjoyed the figures, and found the detail present to make photographing them a joy, but was relatively unimpressed by the simple build , although it includes a few neat features.

While that would have been welcome, I understand LEGO's desire to capture the distinctive angular decoration associated with Mandalore.It features a LEGO brick-built throne with a secret drawer containing a blaster pistol, plus a decorative surround including a pop-out window element – ideal for throwing a LEGO Star Wars minifigure through!

Awesome for solo or group play, this building toy makes the best birthday present, holiday gift or fun treat for creative kids aged 7 and up who are into Star Wars : The Clone Wars. Switch to 3L bars, because you should be using those for all lightsaber blades (otherwise, they’re as long as a minifig is tall, which just looks wrong). Some people have expressed surprise that Maul's lightsaber lacks the elongated hilt introduced with Monkie Kid, which could have been effective here.
