The recent parfum release take OL and makes it earthier and a little powdery but has that violet with a musty tobacco. Very strong and it is perfect for winter, as we have now winter in this part of the world, i can wear this during the day or night, they have nice projection and silage, longevity is ok 8h+ and smells really like royals would smell with those expensive perfumes. There is a slight petroleum vibe in the beginning but it fades with time and the dry down has more woody characteristics than leather, but it is still present. I can say that they kinda in the same ballpark but you can tell how smooth ombre leather is while this one got some kind of and burnt smell.To me, the dry-down smells like melted paraffin wax--I'm now learning this note is what others refer to as cocaine. If you catch whiffs in the air, they are a dead-ringer for Ombre Leather at a quick sniff of the untrained nose.
