The carrier has an integrated headrest that can be adjusted by draw strings and fastened through loops on the shoulder straps by poppers (snap fastenings) to act as either a head support or moulded sleep hood. Beautiful wrap conversion half buckle carriers from Didymos - the width-adjustable panel means the DidyKlick adjusts to fit your little one's body and as they grow. I’m a size 16-18 and had oodles of unused belt, yet at its smallest it will fit the most petite of people. There are no preset 'jumps' its possible to get an exact knee to knee fit all the way from a tiny baby to bigger toddler. A half buckle carrier is a type of baby carrier that secures at the waist with a buckle, like a structured buckle carrier, but that has fabric shoulder straps, that loop over your shoulders, cross at your back and then tie at your waist.
It’s always lovely to try something new and I was intrigued to see how the half-buckle DidyKlick performed in comparison to my beloved wraps. On the DidyKlick, a pull on the toggle on the front panel will cinch down the height which makes it perfect for small babies. The DidyKlick can be used for front carries from birth and for hip or back carries from 4 months, or as soon as your baby can hold their head up. but when the lovely people at Didymos asked me whether I’d like to test and review their new half-buckle DidyKlick I couldn’t wait for the postman to arrive! As mentioned you can even purposefully twist the straps - which seems like an odd thing to do but something I often teach to parents with nosy babies as it gives babies more space to see things while still giving great support and comfort for the parent's shoulders.
