About this deal

We'd talked about a soother fairy before but this helped him picture her and picture how it was going to go. I do think care should be taken to ensure the child realises they can't keep (and in turn get attached to) the Dummy Fairy afterwards - she should be an elusive character much the same as Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy - there to do a job but then off to guide other little boys and girls through their dummy rehab. My 3 and a half year old has had her dummy since she was 7 weeks old and so I was dreading getting rid of it.

I loved the ‘Dummy Garden’ page where lots of different coloured Dummy Fairies work to wash various dummies in a giant dummy-shaped washing machine, and then peg them out to dry on a washing line; the clean dummies are then given to new babies. Not that I think for one minute that removing the dummy will do that for her speech; I just feel it is the right time to lose that particular crutch as she gets older, and I'm more concerned about her teeth than her speech on that front!

The boy in the story is in a "big bed" so my daughter was a bit confused about why he had a dummy at all as I'd been prepping her that she's getting too big for a dummy. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. The dummy fairy collects dummys from toddlers all over the world and gives them to babies who need them (wink, wink).

Hertfordshire - very complicated system I'll explain another time) and I'm just waiting for the end of the summer holidays before I embark on that 'fun' task. So just again tonight we've had the 'doddy fairy' at christmas who will leave him an extra present talk - apparently its fine he doesn't need any more presents as Santa is leaving his I mean where do you go from there? To explore the imaginary world and the benefits that fantasy offers to young developing minds, you can choose to also put up a fairy door to give the Dummy Fairy a way to enter your child's room.Earlier on today she also said 'not tickle mummy' but also 'no tickling' at relevant times, which shows she has a grasp at least of when to use verb or noun.
