About this deal

And we have been talking obviously about a new record and when that will be and what kind of thing that will be. The Greatest Days official movie soundtrack, packed with hits from Take That’s incredible discography spanning three decades, is now available via EMI Records.

This feel-good soundtrack features hit songs from Take That, including Rule the World, The Flood, Could It Be Magic, Shine, Relight My Fire, Back For Good and other memorable classics that have been reimagined by the film’s cast: Aisling Bea (This Way Up), Alice Lowe (Black Mirror), Jayde Adams (The Outlaws), Amaka Okafor (The Responder) and Marc Wootton (Nativity! It was directed by James Robert Moore, with choreography by Ian West, musical direction by Roxanna Shirley, arrangements by Steve Parry, set design by Steve Howell, costume by Carry On Costumes, sound design by Leigh Davies, video and lighting design by Ben Bull and associate direction by Grace Currie. It puts a mirror on our audience – it’s a celebration of our music but it’s literally all about the fans and their friendships.

To be part of this movie and the soundtrack and to be able to sing in front of the King with them [at The Coronation Concert] was a dream come true. Since their reunion as a four-piece, it was clear that they hadn't lost the momentum they had in the 90s with another string of hits including 'Shine', 'Rule the World' and 'Greatest Day'.

In September 2022, it was announced that the musical would tour the UK and Ireland in 2023, renamed as Greatest Days. Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen released a statement about the film in 2020, saying: "Greatest Days is a film dedicated to all those who have supported us throughout the years. After beginning rehearsals in 2022, further casting was revealed in June 2022 - which was great news for fans after the film was initially thought to be released in 2021! They did however loan the production team one of their Airbus aircraft (that was in the hangar having an overhaul) free of charge for 48 hours for filming on condition that the livery was kept intact and not covered up or changed. Thankfully they changed their name and after a few unsuccessful songs in the early 90s Take That's breakthrough hit 'It Only Takes A Minute' was released.

Former Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc’s sister Coky Giedroyc has directed the film, with Take That executive producing alongside David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers.

It's also been revealed that the boys will be performing live at the incredibly special London premiere of the film on Thursday 15th June. Throughout the trailer, starring actress Aisling Bea can be seen, playing her character Rachel, along with her co-stars Aaron Bryan, Dalvin Cory, Joshua Jung, Mark Samaras and Mervin Noronha. Robbie Williams and Mark Owen reunite as they sit in Robbie's kids' high chairs: 'Babies of the band!
