I like a handful of the characters quite a lot, but I would not have collected this entire series had the LEGO® Group not sent it to me.

For accessories, Pinochhio comes with Cleo, Geppetto’s goldfish which is printed on a trans-clear minifigure head. She features a brand new wig, which is an accurate representation of Tiana’s hairstyle, and looks great from the side. With Prince John and Robin Hood, you couldn’t pick a better duo for a series aimed at celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary. And yes, I have an A level in Chemistry and postgraduate degrees, so I know a conical flask when I see one. Overall, it’s a really great and unique minifigure, and I can imagine that the double-arms will be a nice little addition for those that collect minifigures, and want to add a really interesting arm option into their collection.

Since feel guides are becoming a thing of the past with the next CMF series, have you considered using a precision scale and posting your findings for the next one? While I would not say that this is a difficult series to feel through, there are still a few tricky bits that might score you the wrong character if you’re not careful. Tiana’s head piece is also double sided with an additional closed mouth smiling face on the other side. My wife is a big Alice in Wonderland fan, and she was thrilled to hear this character was coming out. While I have seen the Princess and the Frog, Big Hero 6, Fantasia, Pinocchio, Lilo and Stitch, 101 Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty, I don’t really remember them.

It’s a bit of a wasted opportunity in my opinion, as LEGO should’ve really given Baymax the Trolls Biggie treatment with a large moulded body, instead of a regular minifigure. Maybe they’re waiting just around the river bend… Pocahontas makes my favorite characters list from the Disney 100 Minifigures series. Mulan is the only character to come with this accessory, and there are actually two of them in the blind bag.Starting around August with the launch of the next Minifigures Series, the LEGO® Group is switching to carboard boxes for all future CMF series.
