About this deal

We have had a few leaks here and there with these nappies but I feel that this was not the nappies fault. Note: Only nappies within each type are directly comparable to one another, so use our filter tool to sort by type (newborn, infant, crawler, etc). It features a cute and unisex animal design with the front and back of the nappy easily identified by the drawing of the animal. We recommend toddler, walker and junior nappies with a CHOICE Expert Rating of at least 80%, and at least 70% for absorbency, leakage, rewet and velcro strength.

When Bert was smaller, we tried Sainsburys and Tesco's own brand nappies, but found them all to be less absorbent and more likely to leak than the Pampers, so we decided to stick with the branded nappies that seemed to work better for us. As my daughter is teething she is urinating more frequently and despite changing more regularly these nappies still leak. So finding nappies that move with your baby, absorb wee fast and keep poo locked in is a parenting must. Aldi also sell newborn nappies in size 1 and 2, as well as Pull Up style Easy Pants in sizes 5 and 6 for potty training.I have used mamia nappies since birth and I have used other brands that we received samples of etc and found these the cheapest and the best to use! I'm used to the odd leak here and there, even with our usual nappy brand, so the Aldi Mamia range seem to stack up pretty well! Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the product information on our site is accurate, this information will occasionally change. The nappies have won awards in the past and this was the reason I tried them and I can only expect them to win awards going forward.

The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them. I think that these nappies are a great lower-cost alternative to their branded contemporaries; they offer a reliable nappy for up to 12 hours, a good fit and design, while best of all saving us parents a pretty penny or two! Financially, it is a struggle, but, it is absolutely worth any financial hardship - I keep telling myself that the 5 years up until he goes to full time school will be here far too fast for my liking, and that I just need to concentrate on soaking up and enjoying every single moment of being at home with him, and in the meantime we need to be as sensible as we can with money to make ends meet.I'm not overly keen on how it feels when I change him, the outside papery texture seems to almost stick to my hand when I touch it (think velcro! Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Gail said: I have no hesitation to say that yes I would choose this product above all others on the market and yes I do think this product should win! The nappies have a cute design and are clearly marked with the size which is handy if you have multiple children in different size nappies. The Ultra Dry nappies seem to fit Bert well, but are slightly more bulky in the pad than the branded nappies we normally use.
