Using the Tilt control, the sound just went from woolly to ear-piercingly shrill with nothing in between that I liked. There is an included footswitch that turns on the effects loop and also turns on the, Hurrah a usable boost that’s foot-switchable. To add further to its flexible, guitarist friendly nature, the Marshall MG50GFX also houses an FX Loop; an MP3/Line In jack; and an emulated Headphone Output that doubles as a Line Out jack.
