A 1/4-inch female thread has been bored right in the centre of the rubber ring base to mount the Astro projector on a tripod. The remote has good range and works without direct line of sight to the IR receiver located on the back of the Astro projector. A couple of things that I wish I could change is being able to control the brightness at smaller intervals (10%, 20%, 30%), while there probably won’t be many times when you need this, it would be nice to have just in case you do. Picture was tested from a distance of about a metre, giving about a 30 ins picture, to 3 metres giving about 100 ins picture, and in the dark room it looked fine at either size. This can be damaging to eyes, so the Astro will cut off the projected image if it detects something in front of it up to a certain range.
