The Space 1999 Eagle 1 Transporter Deluxe Edition 1:72 Scale Model Kit is a mixed media kit with plastic ship parts and detailed resin parts. The Eagle Transporter is the iconic capital spacecraft featured in the Gerry Anderson show Space:1999. Accurate" decals and detailed instruction sheet (the parts breakdown is exactly the same as the 22 inch version).

Construction and painting requires significant model making experience (the instructions are generally regarded as inadequate, although these have been expanded in later editions). Next, I attached the module with the supplied screws, which make for a secure connection but they are visible on the model.Includes additional resin parts to create the version of Eagle 1 that featured a lab pod as well as the booster pack. While the kit’s plastic engine bells look good, the metal parts in the aftermarket set are terrific details with extremely thin edges. But after getting past the initial repetition of building the modular parts I started to really enjoy it.
