I am fairly adamant in saying that Carolina Herrera has a great range of masculine fragrances on offer. With Chic, however, I find the cardamom to be more uncomplicated and more wearable; with LNDLH, unfortunately, it quickly triggers a headache in me. Chic has an alcoholic opening for about 5 seconds and then it starts off with a not too bright citrus opening that is quickly accompanied by a sharp pepper. The watermelon is not teeny at all and settles down very mature in the spices that draw on the watermelon's coolness - balancing out into a deliciousness that is refreshing and calming yet energizing at the same time. You can dress this up or down, it's going to be appealing to pretty much everyone who smells it on you.

If Chic were released today in a striking but classy bottle and had a proper ad campaign attached to it like Versace, Gucci or Chanel does for their frags I would have no doubt that it would be a hit for the house.There's a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness; freshness and powderness; intimacy and assertiveness in this scent. In the Chic by CH case we have a very pleasent and cozy fresh and tonic fragance, it was in the same vein of 212 Men.

Don't get me wrong, I love this scent as it is quite reminiscent of Acqua di Gio but with the sweetness turned up to 11!Please read the full reviews and consider your own needs and preferences before making a purchasing decision. The smell of the perfume is comfortable for the nerves, pleasant, you can not get bored of it, very elegant, easy to wear, a perfume that stands in the middle between the classic sharp perfumes, and the modern sweet perfumes. A safe option for office wear or casual occasions, day or night, mostly for mild weather in my opinion. Watermelon does dominate this fragrance but the Pepper, Cinnamon, Sandalwood and Amber add warmth and spice which combines perfectly with the cool fruitiness of the Watermelon and Lemon and really balances this fragrance out.

Herrera I need an intense/eau de parfum version of this, not another summer/surf/on ice/whatever… version of 212. Quick story: I was in my car one day, driving back home at night, many hours after I sprayed a fragrance (a different one) in the morning.All you need to apply is to have a debit or credit card, to be over 18 years of age, and to be a UK resident.

It smells syntetic and metallic, along with something that's trying to smell like fresia but missed by a mile. It smells better in small amount, the body product like deodorant stick smells better than the EDT - much cleaner smelling. Take the musk and tonka (coumarin) combo at the base under this fruity, watery and powdery violet accord, I can't help but making a connection to Dior - Fahrenheit. It's also got a smooth musk base which is actually enjoyable compared to other musk fragrances of the same Era. Watermelon notes aren't as common in men's perfumery as lime, lemon, orange or grapefruit so it really stands out to me here.
