The LG V60 is the most refined flagship we've seen from LG, and with its free Dual Screen peripheral/case, 5G connectivity, and good specs, the phone stands out from its rivals. It does feel like LG needs a bit of reset with its flagship phones though and we might just get that with the LG Velvet. There’s also up to 10x crop zoom, improvements to night mode, and a new 3D Tilting Photo mode that allows you to take the 3D shots you often see in your Facebook feed.

Let’s face it: foldables are too expensive for most of us, and the only way we’re going to get more display space is by unique phones like the LG V60. Fortunately, the V60 breathes fresh life into the lineup with a big, bold redesign that will definitely turn heads. I just checked my date of purchase and it's 24 June - so I might be lucky - unless they decide to check for my non-dutch address! Whether those perks are enough to give it the edge over the best phones on the market is more a matter of personal taste than a specs comparison. I don’t really mind when a phone has lost the headphone port, but I still always enjoy having it back when it’s there.LG’s flagship phones have felt a bit stuck for years, which is why the recent announcement of the new LG Velvet line felt like the reboot they needed. As the european/international version is virtually impossible to find, I'm looking at the unlocked USA variants of this phone.
