About this deal

Convivial seaside cottage on Northumberland’s stunning coastline with miles of sandy beach to explore from your doorstep. Enjoy all year round with family or friends The Cottage was lovely and became our home-from-home for a while. It was great because we had a washing machine and the cooker was a treat so we had everything we needed. The location was quiet and peaceful although you will need a car if you want anything from the shop. There are some lovely walks too, with Wiston Castle just a short walk away and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

We're very pleased you appreciated the brand new kitchen and bathrooms - it sounds like the kitchen served you well over New Year! Even the weather was kind to us - it only rained once and that was at night. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it without hesitation. We had two young dogs with us who made full use of the small private rear garden. We are not walkers but found plenty of places within driving distance to visit. Good pubs with good fresh, home cooked food

We loved watching the changing reflections in the water at the end of the lovely garden and the comings and goings of the various water birds. Parking arrangements were excellent. The cottage was extremely well-equipped with every facility one could hope for. It should be noted that the spiral stairs are quite steep and there is no upstairs bathroom so toilet visits in the night need to be done with care. Nestled within the picturesque countryside of Pikehall near Winster, the Peak District, Clover Cottage at Pikehall is a stunning single-storey property ideal for a couple or a family looking for a rural escape. Elaine and Matt could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We asked for more bin bags and hey presto the bins were changed for us. The cottage was immaculate with a very high standard of equipment. Would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it. Lots to do in the area, wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Elaine and Matt. You'll be greeted with an enclosed porchway upon arrival, which serves as a convenient place to store your muddy boots and outerwear following a day of adventure.
