First, some caveats: Cherry liqueurs come in numerous styles. We’ve covered maraschino— a clear liqueur that’s distilled from cherry pulp and pits, then sweetened — in the past, and surely someday we’ll write about kirsch, which is an unsweetened, clear brandy made from Morello cherries.
