Fan fitment has already been mentioned with up to 8x 120mm (3x front, 2x top, 1x rear, and 2x bottom) or 7x 140 (2x front, 2x top, 1x rear, and 2x bottom). Radiator fitment is the same fitment for radiators as its associated fans. If opting to air cool your CPU, the limit to height will be 180mm, which is not much of a ceiling and will allow pretty much any CPU cooler we have seen. The included fans are a point of interest for the 680X as it comes with triple 120mm LL RGB PWM fans in the front and a standard chassis fan on the rear as exhaust. Load testing is conducted using Prime95 LFFTs and Kombustor “FurMark” stress testing simultaneously. Testing is completely automated using in-house scripting, and executes with perfect accuracy on every run. And now for the sad part, I don't think I flushed my radiators well enough and didn't bother flushing with a pump or filtration system before installing them, and now I believe my XG7 and XC7 are acting as filters for whatever was left in the radiators. A 360mm Radiator and 240mm radiator will fit top and front, but you have to mount your fans on the inner side, and room for pipe runs is very limited, especially if you plan on mounting the XD5 on the front. If you do happen to go for front and top mounted radiators, you will find that you will have limited mounting choices for your XD5.

Illuminate your system with three included LL120 RGB fans, boasting a total of 48 customizable RGB LEDs. A few things to note, I wasn't sold on the vertical mounting of the GPU, but I love the way it looks in your setup, what kind of PCIe Riser Cable are you using? I want one that will be compatible with PCIe 4.0 since I have it and wouldn't want to abandon it for aesthetics only. Once removed you can install any fans/radiators as well as attach the included magnetic dust filter. The cable side of the 680X consists of an all steel white panel which has some filtered ventilation on the lower portion. This filter magnetically attaches so it’s easy to remove and clean when doing maintenance on your PC. We measured the 680X at 42.5 dBA. It could certainly run quieter with decreased fan speeds, but there are four 120mm fans, and the large air gaps around the front panel do very little to muffle the noise generated at max speed. The trouble with all of this is that the Corsair 680X is not particularly quiet nor particularly effective at cooling, which is odd since it is named the “680X RGB High Airflow.” Conclusion: Corsair 680X vs. Lian Li O11 Dynamic

Once you have selected your desired lighting effect, you can see how it will look in the upper right pane. If you which to change attributes such as the speed, direction, and colors you can do this on the lower portion of the screen. The CORSAIR Crystal Series 680X RGB is a dual-chamber tempered glass ATX smart case that keeps your system running cool with room for up to eight fans and four radiators, including one 360mm. Enjoy superb airflow and brilliant RGB lighting from three LL120 RGB fans, controlled by an included CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO and powered by iCUE software. Show off a stunning view of your PC’s components with three tempered glass panels on the front, roof, and hinged side door, while an optional vertical GPU mount allows you to put your graphics card center stage. Make your next custom build incredibly easy and undeniably cool with the 680X RGB. At the bottom of the case are mounting rails for up to two 120mm/140mm fans and can also support a 240mm/280mm radiator.

One thing that really stands out with the 680X RGB is the absolutely gorgeous LL120 fans. Pictures do not do these fans justice and you really need to see them in person. The iCUE comes with a lot of predefined lighting effects that you can additionally configure settings for, such as speed, color, and direction.

When I first took a look at the 680X, I will admit, I liked it because it is a dual-chamber design, which means that fitting cable management behind a tight panel is less of an issue. When I got into building it, I found several things that helped to make the 680X a reliable option for most any system builders looking for a case with this sort of feature set.

As you can see a vertically mounted GPU is essential if using the XG7, and front mounted XD5. The GPU and Pump/Res will overlap.I more or less went the route of the "reference build guide" for the 680X. You can see the photos below, I didn't have room for the XD5 pump in the main chamber mainly because of the front XR5 360mm radiator. I ended up putting the XD5 in the "ugly" side of the case (realized I should have maybe used a 45° fitting on the outlet after I filled the loop, also cable management wasn't done at the time of the photo).
