Before officially signing with Floptropica Records in late 2022, Jiafei went on to put out her debut single, "You Didn't Buy My Products" in 2021. After the song had only a limited impact on the industry, she took the alternative route in the music industry and released the songs "Experimental Diva" and the acoustic single "Jia." She was then discovered by the producer sunco, who took her into the studio and put out two songs titled "Product Wap" and "Product Wap Remix" as well as a mixtape called "Jia" that she later disregarded and removed from her musical profile. To this day, the two versions of "Product Wap" are still on her official Spotify Account.A TikTok wherein a woman is cooking with an umbrella and screams as fire bursts from the pan onto her face went viral in mid-2021 from Jeifei accounts that shared it.
