The Grudge: Much of the weirdness in the house stems from the dead little ghost boy who lives there. Solving the mystery of the cursed little freak occupies much of Cindy’s time in the movie. Ever since The X-Files signed off in 2002 (and then again in 2016 and 2018), the network TV procedural horror crown has just been sitting there, ready for the taking. There are few shows out there that are able to combine horror and romance without losing something from each genre, and Mike Flanagan’s sophomore Netflix series The Haunting of Bly Manoris one of them. Hidden Side is one of LEGO’s newest themes, and it’s definitely a bit of a departure for the company. It’s all about ghost hunting, but the big twist here isn’t action features or glow-in-the-dark minifigures. Instead, the ‘ghosts’ for the sets can only be seen if you the LEGO app’s AR functionality. It’s a cool piece of technology that makes it fun for kids who are more used to smartphone games to play with LEGO, but it’s still one that puts the build at the forefront of the process.
