About this deal

Directed by Robert Clouse, Enter the Dragon stars Bruce Lee in his final completed film role. Lee is widely regarded as one of the most influential martial artists of all time and was a pop culture icon of the 20th century. In addition to Lee, the film also stars John Saxon, Ahna Capri, Bob Wall, Shih Kein, and introduces Jim Kelly. It was written by Michael Allin and produced by Fred Weintraub, Paul Heller, and Raymond Chow with a score by honorary Academy Award recipient Lalo Schifrin. Flesh Tones: Skin tones are natural and consistent from start to finish. From any reasonable distance in the frame one can see clear as day facial texture and details with ease. The theatrical cut is a leaner experience that I think I prefer, but I never had much of a problem with the special edition so I wouldn't be too upset if that's all we got (compared to say The Exorcist or Amadeus where I'd personally hope for the theatrical cut. Amadeus has been rumoured to go to Criterion for years now so if that pans out I'd be quite confident about it being the theatrical cut, if not both cuts). Notable upside to them potentially siding with the theatrical cut could be the greater chance of having the original legacy audio mix included, though it's not always a guarantee with Warner. It would be nice having the Saul Bass logo at the head of the film too. Mr. Odessa on Don’t miss Goodie Emporium’s New Release update! RUN AND KILL is being released by Team Error 4444. It's difficult to know which cut they will go with preserving here. I think every release Warner has put out themselves since 1998 has been the special edition cut, with the theatrical not re-surfacing on disc in the West until Criterion put their Bruce Lee set together. With that said, there's chance they'll do a Superman and restore and present the theatrical cut in 4k, and leave the special edition to the bundled Blu-ray which will no doubt be the 2013 disc recycled. Enter the Dragon previous UK Blu-ray releases has been the Special Edition Version not the Theatrical version
