(Which I can’t wait to see.) The Master and Commander books are also known as the Aubrey-Maturin series, taking its name from the two central characters. However, after the series was made into a successful movie starring Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany, the novels are now more commonly known as the Master and Commander books.
