About this deal

Made from recycled plastic, this 200L Garden Lake Water Butt is a durable, has a wood grain and barrel banding effects and comes complete with a child-resistant lid and easy-twist tap.

It is important to note that the rainwater collected by your water butt is not always crystal clean – in fact there are a few things you should do to mitigate the risk of damaging your plants. This Polybutt 200 Litre water butt is designed with a woodgrain effect which creates an attractive addition to any garden. The water butt is manufactured from fully UV stabilised LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) meaning the product will not degrade over time and will retain its strength for 10 - 15 years. This 200 litre water butt is the bigger sister of the 110 litre slim-line water butt (also available) and is suitable for the sized garden. Plants often thrive better when water from a butt is used because the temperature is ambient (similar to the surrounding environment), as opposed to tap water which is often much colder. This beautiful water butt comes with a matching stand and a downpipe connector kit with easy installation.

Our water butts are designed to help you make a positive impact on the environment. By collecting rainwater, you can reduce your reliance on tap water and reduce the strain on local water supplies. You’ll be doing your part to protect the environment and reduce your water consumption while enjoying the benefits of free, natural rainwater. We offer a range of water butts in various sizes and styles to suit your specific needs – whether it’s a compact water butt for a small garden or patio, or a large water butt for more extensive gardening or outdoor water needs. Rainwater is naturally soft and free from harsh chemicals, making it ideal for watering plants. Enjoy environmentally friendly gardening practices by using rainwater from a garden water butt that promotes healthy plant growth without introducing potentially harmful chemicals to your garden. Always utilise a watering can. Do not use a fine water spray as this can generate small aerosol particles which can be carried in the wind and inhaled into one’s lungs, resulting in infection. Connect the hose or pipe from the rainwater diverter to the inlet of the water butt. Make sure the connection is tight and secure to prevent leaks. It is also important to clean your water butt, especially after rainfall seasons. This is because stagnant water can stink if left in the water butt for long periods. Once the rainwater enters the water butt, it is stored in the container until you are ready to use it. At Tanks Direct, we offer a range of water butts in various sizes, from 110 to 340 litres. Water butts are typically equipped with a tap or a hose attachment near the bottom of the container, allowing you to access the collected water easily. Some water butts may also have an overflow outlet near the top to prevent overflow during heavy rainfall.
