About this deal

the character development of the female lead, it's too fast, and too simple (if you consider the amount of trauma she's been through).

Miyo's sense of self-worth is pretty much in tatters at the start of the story, so it's mostly about her regaining confidence and finding love. And obviously, Kyoka has his own issues of trust/dealing with women, so the story is basically about two awkward people learning to slowly connect. There are plenty of things happening around that (Miyo's family, her mother's family, Kyouya's family, etc.), but it's kind of a mellow series. Nothing too dramatic happens. Miyo must endure being treated like a servant by her half-sister, who, in contrast to Miyo, is endowed with the extraordinary talents of their blood. At the same time, her stepmother and very own father have no patience or love for her.Since many people say female lead change ONLY because of the male lead and some men around her, I will say this. There are some people who give her confidence, it's mainly Yurie (woman) and male lead, and Kouji also support her in those dark years even if not much to improve her psychological state and condition, so it's not only male lead. Hana (woman), her maid also give her support in those dark years. Everyone who think it's only male lead or only men around her, PLEASE READ AGAIN PROPERLY). Yurie really contribute a lot in her growth, without Yurie, I don't think male lead will be able to give Miyo support because male lead know how to handle Miyo mainly because of Yurie's advice. A bonus short story by the original light novel author, in which we learn how Miyo got the comb she used prior to the one Kiyoka gave her. An anime adaptation was announced on April 5, 2022. It was later revealed to be a television series produced by Kinema Citrus and directed by Takehiro Kubota, with supervision and storyboards handled by Takao Abo, scripts written by Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda, character designs by Shōko Yasuda, and music composed by Evan Call. [4] The series aired in Japan from July 5 to September 20, 2023, on Tokyo MX and other networks, [58] with Netflix simulcasting the series on the same day globally, while Bilibili simulcasted it in Mainland China. [19] [59] The opening theme song is "Anata no Soba ni." ( 貴方の側に。, "By Your Side.") by Riria, while the ending theme song is "Vita Philosophica" ( ヰタ・フィロソフィカ) by Kashitarō Itō. [60] An original video animation will be bundled with the special edition of the eighth light novel volume, which is set to be released on March 15, 2024. [61]

Thankfully the "arc"(?) wrapped up in a happy and powerful way because I really don't think my heart could have handled seeing Miyo experience any more pain. Kudo's softness in his actions towards her and the way he shows love really makes this story a beautiful one of healing. Or at least the beginning of a path that leads to healing! The supernatural aspects were interesting for sure, and I’m sure will be developed in the future, with the upcoming OVA or perhaps in future instalments of this series if it ever happens, but I felt it somewhat took away from the more grounded relationship with Miyo and Kiyoka. The supernatural parts do give the series more flare and pizzazz, but I question whether all of it was necessary, as especially in the second half, where I felt the lore and the presence of Grotesqueries, besides being haphazardly implemented at points, also limited the time that could have otherwise been spent on developing the romance aspects a bit better, as well as Miyo’s character. Even so, a majority of screen time will likely focus on Miyo and Kiyoka. Interested readers can expect early issues to focus on the two learning who each other really is, with preconceived notions clearly being a major part of the series. Similarly, conflict will likely arise from rumors and discovered truths concerning each other’s past.

My Happy Marriage ; Watashi no Shiawasena Kekkon ; わたしの幸せな結婚

Miyo Saimori has had a hard life. Abused by her step mother and half sister, ignored by her father, and avoided by the servants, she has nothing but hand me downs one step away from being thrown away to call her own. Even the man she hoped would marry, one of the few who showed her kindness after her mother passed, is stolen by her step sister, and Miyo is sent to marry a wealthy and intimidating man infamous for chasing preview bride candidates out I'm three days. Miyo and male lead relationship is feels natural too, the male lead at first only interested in here= because she is unusual, then he cares about her and finally love. Miyo is also same, male lead told us that at first Miyo doesn't really care who is it as long as they provide her home but after several chapters, it changes to be, "I wanted to be here." Oh, I read this recently and quite enjoyed it, although it's nothing very deep. It's a sort of Cinderella in a light-fantasy Meiji-era Japan.

I was going to give it a 7, but I read the first chapter of the light novel that this manga is based on and the writing it's so much better. Like, seriously, the manga did dirt to the original novel. That just proves that the same story can cause emotions in different ways just by the author writing skills. So if you like the manga, give the light novel a try. Knowing how the original it's better I had to give it a 5 His lips and his voice quivered. What was this strange feeling? Was it wonder? Excitement? Delight? Or all of that at once? "My Happy Marriage Novel Series Gets TV Anime". Anime News Network . Retrieved April 5, 2022. No and I don't know. The only villain that we already know the past is Kaya, we don't know about her mother, her father, related to why they do that to Miyo. For Kaya, she was given mindset since she was child that she is always above Miyo in everything, she is always right, this was explained by male lead so if you think she is simply bad because she is bad PLEASE READ AGAIN PROPERLY.
