Women may use an abdominal binder after vaginal childbirth to help shrink the uterus and lose weight. To determine your size, measure the widest part of your body the binder will cover. For women, the widest part is usually the hips. For men, it’s usually the waist.

Once the crossover phase was over, each patient was invited to enter an open‐label phase and wear the elastic abdominal binder every day during daytime over 4 weeks, as an add‐on to previously adopted antihypotensive strategies (either pharmacological or nonpharmacological).
