About this deal

Lemon juice: Freshly squeezed lemon juice balances the blueberry so perfectly and almost makes this drink a bit like a blueberry lemonade. Muddle a few blueberries lightly in a glass. Add ice, gin, tonic, lime juice and stir gently until chilled and a little of the juice has infused the drink. Add a few mint leaves (and a slice of lime, if desired) to garnish.

They make it using a special distilling process in these small-batch copper-pot stills. And when it comes to the bottle itself, they’ve gone all out with a super classy, sleek bottle and label design. It’s easy to pan stuff like this and call it a day. I may not be the target market for Greenall’s Blueberry Gin, but it’s easy to see why it would it works well within its niche. For a refreshing drink, simply enjoy Greenall’s Blueberry Gin with tonic or soda water and fresh or frozen blueberries for garnish.

Lucy, honestly, these pictures look absolutely beautiful! No need to feel frustrated nor helpless my dear! I mean, you outdo yourself with each new post. But I know that feeling, sometimes we strive for perfection and it's hard when things don't turn out the way we imagined. 🙂 We’re very serious about preventing food waste here at My Vegan Minimalist so here’s a few ideas of what you could do. Blueberry Simple Syrup | make this simple syrup ahead of time and keep in the fridge for fabulous drinks. Including this non-alcoholic blueberry limeade. Two cups worth of blueberries (equal to 500ml) - this a "cup" in terms of a standard measuring cup. This recipe is a fantastic base, but unlike my baking recipes, it will still work even if you leave some bits out or customise them. 2. Prep your syrup ahead of time

Greenall’s Blueberry provides a refreshing burst of blueberries balanced with the delicate bitterness of the London Dry Gin giving a subtle hint of a floral note, but finishing with a fruity blueberry aftertaste. Make it a double. It’s hard to tell this is an alcoholic drink, which means you can double the amount of gin for a stronger tasting drink without overdoing it. After that, give the bottle a shake once to a couple of times a week for the next seven weeks. During this period you will notice the sugar disappear and the colour start to change to a purple/red colour. Greenall’s Blueberry Gin shows that you can do “ pink gin” without being pink. Rather than using strawberries, Greenall’s features natural flavors and blueberries in Greenall’s flagship London Dry Gin. It is pleasantly flavored with no additional sweetening or added sugar. So different flavor, different color, but fundamentally part of the “berry flavored gin” movement.Leave the bottle somewhere in plain sight so you don't forget about it as you need to give the mixture a shake every day for the first three weeks. Lemon | Just a squeeze, adds a lovely citrus brightness to the drink, and changes the purple gin to more of a blue. Once ready, strain the gin (if necessary) through a muslin or water filter jug to get rid of any sediment. Serve over tonic and ice, garnished with a few blueberries and a mint leaf!

Give blueberries a good rinse, then add to a large pot (no need to dry them). Warm blueberries over medium heat, stirring often. Cook blueberries until they release a decent amount of liquid.* Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Nose: Sweet blueberry jam sits atop a slight tinge of ethanol. No other gin character coming through. On nose alone, you might mistake it for a flavored vodka. Dana Frank has authored books and numerous articles on the subject of food and drinks, with a focus on demystifying the world of gastronomy for everyday people. Once you’ve pressed your blueberry syrup through a sieve, make sure you don’t discard the leftover blueberries. The Blueberry Gin Mojito is a refreshing twist on the classic mojito, combining the fruity sweetness of blueberries with the boldness of gin. The use of Empress gin adds a beautiful purple hue, making it perfect for Halloween parties or any celebration.
