Summary: We have the 9” and 12” dome of this product and like them very much, especially the 9”. This cheese melting dome is found to be well constructed and what you might expect from Cuisinart. The 12” is very large and would probably be best used on a grill when cooking several burgers for family and friends. Helps hold in the heat and create an even cook and melt. Overall a good choice for the price. Summary: This dome is different as it is made of spun aluminum instead of stainless steel. This didn’t seem to be a problem with customers, but just be aware of the material of the dome when searching for one. Nordic Ware has been around for 70 years and makes great products.
