About this deal

Got unflavoured so I could add to other shakes and doesn’t seem to alter the flavour at all, which is perfect. Already noticing differences in myself since taking this, mixes easily, no complaints. We recommend having 3g immediately post-workout, preferably along with a protein and carb shake, to help you get the results you’re looking for. When assessing costs, take into account how many servings you will get, rather than just going by the cost per tub. The recommended dose is 3-5g (up to one teaspoon) of creatine after training, so 1kg will last many months. The powder also contains 19g of carbohydrate to replenish your energy reserves after training, along with DigeZyme Digestive Enzymes to help you break down everything you’ve just drunk. There are three flavour options – chocolate peanut, dark chocolate berry and the slightly more exotic coconut and lime. Creatine Monohydrate (76%), Flavouring, Acid (Citric Acid), Beetroot Concentrate, Sweetener (Sucralose). Blue Raspberry:

I take 10g Creatine per day on training days (5g of monohydrate with a morning shake then 5g included in the recommended serving of Hurricane XS for post workout) and just 5g mono on rest days. I train for 3 days per week, mostly free weights. The weight is approximate when using this powder, I use a standard heaped teaspoon. Creatine is proven to increase physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3g of creatine.Mix 1 scoop (3g) with 150-250ml of water, shake and consume. Use once daily, before or after exercise. Choose from six fruity flavours, Berry Blast, Blue Raspberry, Lemon & Lime, Tropical, Orange or Watermelon, and give your workout a real edge.

Very effective, increase in lift, helps achieve extra reps before feeling tired within sets, unflavoured is completly tasteless and I consume it by taking a shot of it then washing down with water..... To get effectiveness a lot of water must be included in diet otherwise pointless.Key specs – Creatine type: Micronised creatine monohydrate; Purity: Not specified; Serving size: 3g (1g per tablet) You can also get powders that contain both creatine and whey protein, or other key post-workout supplements such as BCAAs. These give your body all it needs to recover and rebuild after training. What type of creatine powder is the best?

The human body produces some creatine naturally and it’s also present in some foods such as red meat, but only in small amounts, making supplements a good option for those who train regularly. What forms does creatine come in? As far as I can tell there are little to no differences apart from the price. The standard Creatine has worked great for me so I was curious as to whether Creapure had an edge on the standard one. Unfortunately nothing to rave about.

In terms of performance (the main reason I started using Creatine), I've noticed an increased weight ability but only for compound exercises, i.e. not curls. By far the biggest difference for me is Dumbbell shoulder press. I used to shoulder press 14KG dumbbells and remember trying 16KG but it was very difficult for me to lift them up to the start position. Now my explosive power has increased, allowing me to lift up 22KG dumbbells and I can push 6-8 reps with that. In terms of curls: I feel increased endurance and the ability to squeeze out an extra rep but not the ability to increase my standard set weight without substantially reducing reps. Long-term creatine supplementation (4-12 weeks) in combination with an effective training program can help increase both strength and muscle size. It enhances muscle performance by promoting the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the primary energy source for muscle contractions. How long after taking creatine will I see results? I read somewhere that Creapure mixes and dissolves much better. This remains to be seen, as I seemingly still have the same amount sitting at the bottom of my glass after vigorously mixing it (300ml cold water).

Creatine monohydrate is not only the cheapest and most common form of creatine, but it’s also the best choice. It’s been researched well, and no other formulation has been shown to be more beneficial in terms of improving performance. Creatine contributes to an increase in physical performance during successive bursts of short term, high intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine. The timing of results can vary, but many individuals experience noticeable benefits from creatine supplementation within a few weeks. This is also dependent on consistent use of creatine, as well as adherence to an effective training plan.

Blue Raspberry: Creatine Monohydrate (Creapure®) (90%), Flavouring, Sweeteners (Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium), Acid (Malic Acid), Colours (Sunset Yellow FCF, Brilliant Blue FCF).
