About this deal

Much like the Teasers bars, mini malty balls add the signature Malteser flavour and crunch to their truffles. The smoothest member of the family, Maltesers Truffles are perfect for gifting and sharing with loved ones. For the biggest fans, there’s also the Large Gift Box. Because y’know, you can never have too many truffles… Pour the Malteser studded mixture into the lined tin. Smooth out with a rubber spatula and place in the fridge to firm up for one hour. Sometimes it's best to have a mix of milk and dark chocolate, which is what I did for this Malteser Fridge Cake recipe. Next time, I may add a layer of white chocolate that I used in this White Chocolate Muffin Recipe, as the topping or perhaps as a drizzle over the crushed Malteser Topping. How to Make Chocolate Malteser Tiffin The bars are fudgy with a sweet milk chocolate flavor and a hint of malt – just like you’d expect. They’re filled with Rice Bubbles (AKA Rice Krispies for everyone in North America), crushed biscuits, and chopped Maltesers for a texture that’s chewy and soft, but still filled with a little crunch. The chocolate on top helps to hold the bars together. Plus, I don’t think you can have a slice recipe with only 1 layer. Refrigerate or leave in a very cool place for a couple of hours to set before you cut it into Malteser Squares. TIP: Before the chocolate sets completely, you could score along the top of the semi soft chocolate with a sharp knife to make slicing easier once it is set. Once cooled completely, use a sharp knife to cut into chunky bars. Notes and FAQ's
