Because none of China tool will cover all cars well and if you buy clone tools, buy all (galletto+kess+ktag)from them, that you will cover more cars, or better to buy a good original tool if you will do the work as a pro, all depends want you will do. The cable is a nice quality OBD male cable, it looks like many ones, but it’s a true EU Clone MPPS V21 fully open (Tricore, MultiBoot, OBD). Tricore cable adaptor looks like many ones too, but very well made!A:That means a way to dissemble the ecu, weld the boot chip point, and use ecu adapter definition to read ECU data. I have used a MPPS v16 clone from china. Been using it on and off for the last year with no problems what so ever. MPPS v18 is good for VAG cars and Fiat 1.3 ddis engines.Be sure to run as administrator using windows 7,mpps, if not, will id, but not read etc, as i witnessed yesterday, assumed tool. today read edc16 partner 1.6hdi and marelli corsa 1.3cdti and wrote ok, ktag firmware v6.070 with ksuite v2.13 supports BDM MOTOROLA MPC5xx, and BMW Gasoline F Chassis and Mercedes W222 Where can I buy a good MPPS clone that works?? In which version? I bought a china clone and is not 100%!

Answer 1: Yes, The version that we include (16.1.0.2) runs without the loader and works with Windows XP SP2 and 7 8 10 32/64 bit.Please note that older versions of other versions found online may not be compatible with Windows 7/10 As for XP, works Perfect win 7etc, just buy a cheap win 7. or 8 notebook “overspeed” , not worth it, say you did find a way on xp, is it worth risk writing ecu, risk enough we guinea pig clones as it is, lets just not reinvent the wheel, if its meant for win 7, etc, im happy to comply. have to admit quite like XP so had to invest in a cheap laptop for this mpps 18 testing, Q3: I have connected mpps v18 clone to my laptop, but it failed to install CD driver and launcher, the massage was reported that Showbox didn’t connect. ON the tricore cable the +12v switch is only on t he pin 16 of the obd female, so it cuts +12v only on the tool the ecu is always poweered for solve it you can put a switch for cutting all positives and other for minor positives.Hi all, i need help with a Opel EDC15M, i bought a MPPS 18 Clone and MPPS 16 Clone. have just manage to read via obd with multiboot function a Bosch ME7.9.10 from Fiat Punto T-JET 1.4 turbo … This tool is the only one that can read from obd this ecu ….. have someone tried to write ecu ME7.9.10 Fiat Abarth Grande Punto 1.4T over obd with MPPS V12 or V16?? kess didnt want to read this tho ? might of been voltage l read at the guys place(fans on with read and write) and wrote at mine with charger but didnt try kess again Tips from pros here, about a ECU programmer comparison tablet, incl. Many ECU has the advantage that can be read and write from OBD port (so KESS V2 is perfect), but there are lot ECU that needs to disassemble from the car and open and this is the case for all the ECU that need to be programmed with Jtag, BDM and Boot protocols, so KTAG is needed. Golf 4 ajm 99 year i try but only rad info in ecu cant read flash. Need open ecu and use extrenal programmer. Or my mpps is crap? I have used MPPS Clone v13 to read my bmw 520d 2007 , pre-facelift 163BHP -- BOSCH-EDC16C31 - ECU Software -381341. I opened this in winols demo and got 262 tables which were automatically identified . If you will look when they start to sell v13 you will discover that it was after 1 year official v16 was released, or more. KESS V5.017 has no grey protocols .full protocols such as EDC17/k-line/DSG/DQ200 DQ250 DQ500 Gearbox/ST10….
