Banu Muttalib and Banu Hashim along with their children and women were thus forced out of Mecca, to a nearby place called Shib-e Abu Talib. [17] The prediction of Waraqah ibn Naufal came true: he had warned the Prophet that a time would come when his tribesmen would oppose him and compel him to leave. [18] The intention of the pagans was to leave the Muslims to starve to death in the loneliness of the desert, at the mercy of the scorching heat with no expectation of external help from any quarter. [19] In January 1969, He was appointed as Principal in Madrsa 'Faidul-Uloom' at Seoni in 1972, He was requested to serve in the Institute 'Madrasa Arabia Dar-ut-Taleem as Principal. After spending two years, He was invited by Jamiah Salafiah Banaras to join as teacher (Ustad). Love of Allah's Messenger (S) is a part of our Faith. There is a Hadith (narration) of the Prophet (S) who said: "None of you has Faith unless I am dearer to him than his father and his son and all mankind." In his youth, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a combination of the best social attributes. He was an exemplary man with a weighty mind and faultless insight. He was favored with intelligence, originality of thought and accurate means leading to his goals. His periods of long silence helped his habit of meditation and deep investigation into the truth. His vivid mind and pure nature were instrumental in assimilating and comprehending ways of life and people, from the point of view of the individual and community.

No doubt, ‘The Sealed Nectar’ (Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum) is a book of great value and praiseworthy work on Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life. The Prophet was later entrusted to Halimah bint Abi Dhuaib from Bani Sa`d bin Bakr. Her husband was Al-Harith bin `Abdul-`Uzza called Abi Kabshah, from the same tribe. This is how Allah sent Ayah in certain situations, like this one, where the Prophet’s (ﷺ) own uncle insulted him in front of the whole of Makkah. The Sealed Nectar mentions many Ayah like this and why they were revealed. I have found that the audio series by Muhammad al Bizry is a really good companion to the Sealed Nectar. He teaches straight from the book, focuses on many details, and holds the listeners attention really well. Plus, he is really awesome at telling stories!

For the first edition of this book, brother Mahir Abu Dhahab from Syria, Damascus, provided his help and cooperation as regards the translation work for which I offer my special thanks to him. Now in your hands is the new revised edition with many changes and additions. Brother Abu Khaliyl (U.S.A.) amended and improved the translation to make its language simple and easy, besides comparing again from the beginning to the end the English translation with the Arabic revised text to update the changes therein. a b c d "Biography of Shaykh SafiuRahman Mubarakpuri | Umm-Ul-Qura Publications". The Rumor Of the Death Of the Prophet (May The peace and blessings of Allah Be upon him) and its Effect On the Battle I chose the Sealed Nectar over other Seerah books, because it is easy to understand and interesting to read. I enjoy reading about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), especially about the wars that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and the Sahabah bravely fought and how they sacrificed their lives for Allah SWT. The Sealed Nectar focuses on these battles and how the Muslims, under the guidance of the Prophet (ﷺ), conquered the biggest empires of the time. This was amazing to read! A board of highly qualified scholars judged the manuscripts and announced the results. The manuscript of Shaikh Safiur-Rahman Mubarakpuri, Jamiah Salafiyah Banaras (India), author of the book in hand (The Sealed Nectar) received first the grand prize of SR 50,000 (fifty thousand Saudi Riyals) for its authentic and sound collections of the narrations. Dr. Majid Ali Khan, New Delhi, India, placed second. The third prize went to Dr. Naseer Ahmed, Islamic University, Lahore, Pakistan. The fourth prize was awarded to Mr. Harnid Mahmud of Egypt. The fifth and final prize was awarded to Abdus-Salam Hashim of Madinah Munawwarah. An extravagant prize distribution ceremony was held at Makkah Al-Mukarramah on 12 Rabi'ul-Awwal 1399 A.H. (1979 C.E.). Afterwards, the book was published by the Muslim World League and then many other organizations gained the honor of publishing this masterpiece. Darussalam also published this book in the Arabic language. I had wished to publish this book in the English language for the wider benefit of humanity. Shaikh Safiur-Rahman willingly agreed to the idea and consented to publish the English translation. The stage of translation was traversed with the help of brother Mahir Abu Dhahab, owner and general manager of Markaz Noor Ash-Sham in Damascus, Syria.

It is narrated that Abu Bakr RA, since he belonged to a noble and rich family, possessed much wealth before the boycott. During the three years of boycott however, he spent so much money in buying food for those in the boycott and getting it to them that by the end, he was a poor man. [26] It is also reported that other Muslims, whenever they could, would load their camels with provisions and leave them on the boundaries of the Shib-e Abu Talib, so the boycotted Muslims could retrieve the resources. Thus, in face of the persecution of the pagans, the Muslims that were not a part of the boycott did not use violence nor leave Mecca, and neither did they leave the Prophet and his Companions. Rather, they used wisdom and tried to provide all the relief they could. They displayed the practical example of the saying of the Prophet in which he said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.” [27] From 1966 to 1969: He taught in “Madrasah Dar Al-Hadith Mau’, and he was Naib Sadr Mudaris (vice head teacher) there.

to 1988: Mubarakpuri taught in Jamiyah Salafiyah Banaris, the Markazi Ahl e Hadith University in India. Martin Lings, Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources, (New York: Inner Traditions International, 1983), 89. Mubarakpuri was the editor of the Monthly magazine “ Mohadis” Banaris for 6 years and he authored many articles in this magazine and others. In current times many books have been published collecting his articles, such as: I also loved this book, because it really shows us how the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) lived his life and times when he was happy and sad, brave and scared, loving and upset, comfortable and suffering, and how he always believed in Allah and loved Him even in times of hardships and pain. This showed me that if the Prophet (ﷺ) could go through so much and still be so strong, then I can be that strong too. This is why my Abba says it is important to study the Seerah. He says that it makes you understand the Qur’an and Sunnah better, but it also shows you who the Prophet (ﷺ) was, how he lived, and how amazing he was! When we read the Seerah, we have a relationship with the Prophet (ﷺ) and love him more than anything in this world. We just can’t help it and it makes you want to be with him in the Hereafter (may Allah make it easy for all of us, Ameen)! When you see the hardships that the Prophet (ﷺ), the best of creation, went through then there is no question that those hardships can’t come to us too. If every Muslim studied the Seerah, then we will know how to deal with any situation and hold tight to Allah’s Rope like the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Sahaba RA always did. Scholars of Ahadith (traditions) and writers of the biography of Muhammad , the Messenger of Allah, have explored his life from every angle and aspect from birth to death. Every event, every incident of his life has been described and narrated, but none had claimed that he has given his life's recording its full rights. Hundreds of books have been written on the life of Muhammad and this endeavor will continue till the Day of Resurrection.Patience is an important virtue converts need to develop to be able to deal with life’s challenges. In the Qur’an, Allah says that He loves the patient. The following links shed more light on this virtue: a b c Mubārakfūrī, Ṣafī al-Raḥmān (2002). الرحيق المختوم: بحث في السيرة النبوية على صاحبها افضل الصلاة و السلام. Darussalam. ISBN 978-9960-899-55-8. And many other projects written and reviewed by Mubarakpuri at Markaz Khidmah As-Sunnah wa As-Seerah. The heart of every Muslim is filled with love for the last Prophet Muhammad (S) and this love of the messenger of Allah is an asset for him. Love and respect of a person depends on the benefits we get from him, As the Prophet, is the greatest benefactor of humanity, every Muslim has deepest love for him, every deed of his life is to be followed by every individual of the Muslim Ummah. Highest love for the Prophet (S) is made a test of our Faith. Allah the All-Mighty has described and explained the status of Muhammad (S) in the Qur'an: "Say (O Muhammad (S) to mankind): If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you..." (3:31) Once Aishah (RA) was asked about the noble character and manners of the Prophet and she answered: “Have you not read the Quran? His character is a complete explanation of the Quran.’’ (مسند أحمد: 24601) This means that whatever is commanded and prohibited in the Quran, its practical embodiment is present in the manners of Muhammad (PBUH) and can be observed in Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s life. In other words, the ideal and perfect example of good manners and character which the Quran demands from mankind has been personified by Muhammad (PBUH) in its highest degree.
