I will admit that Pascal and Ramsey did exhibit some chemistry in this episode, when they were at loggerheads, then tried to find some common ground before heading off towards the Fireflies, but it still feels like a bad cover version. Overall, throughout the series, while I think Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are completely unsuitable to the roles of Joel and Ellie, seeing the reaction to them on Reddit and various Facebook groups for The Last Of Us, and when you get one bunch of Gen Z-ers saying how wonderful they are, the rest won’t voice their own, true opinions, and just parrot what they’ve already heard, so they don’t get shunned by their peers. It’s called Groupthink.
